Boxy Mouse

Facebook has been the primary internet communication method over the last couple months — apologies for the lack of traditional bloggage. Things around here keep getting more interesting — lots of stuff coming up. Here’s a brief recap:

Some new shows have been added to the Infestation Tour:
September: The Beat Coffeehouse & Espresso Royale Downtown
October: Caffetto Coffee House & Captain Cosmic’s Coffee
December: the tea garden on Grand Ave
(*one last boo to the Coffee News Cafe for flaking out for July & August)

Many new paintings were finished in the last two months. Here’s a couple notable examples…

The “Boxy Jay” painting sold in July (the Jellyfish were notably jealous), so a new one had to be made:

There hadn’t been any Boxy Bones paintings for quite some time, so they got a special treatment (more annoyed Jellyfish):

You might notice the lack of a “Boxy Store” link at the top. Well, the store broke and it is not worthy of fixing. A new method of online sales will be offered this Fall. However, you might also see the new “Phone Wallpapers” link — this is a direct link to the mysteriously buried phone wallpapers that people seem to enjoy.

Lastly, the application for the No Coast Craft-o-rama (a cool art fair in December) was completed today. Here’s to hoping that Boxy Mouse can be a part of it this year!

These new canvases (plus many older ones and lots of prints) will be on display in Coffee News Cafe during the months of July and August. More paintings coming in July!

So many fun things going on right now! Paintings are being painted, Boxy Mice are being purchased by humans, and a new batch of stuff was dropped off at the Manufactory store. Also…

Boxy Mouse got some press! A Minneapolis online magazine called South of Canada chose Boxy Mouse as the featured artist, and has allowed 3 Boxy Mice to perch on their banner for a couple months. Don’t fall off little guys, we’re counting on you to represent the company!

At long last a vending machine (Boxy Mouse Button Dispensary) is out in the public. It will be at Tarraccino Coffee until the end of June and will follow the art around on the Infestation Tour.

The paintings keep coming, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop any time soon. More to come in June!

Here we go again!

The excellent run at Pizza Luce Uptown has come to a close. What a nice place and a great bunch of people. Hopefully it won’t be too long before a new bunch of Boxy Mice are invited back again. That being said, Dunn Bros Coffee Lab still has a nice collection on display, and there are a bunch of things on the schedule:
